The Cokin Round Nuances ND1024 filter in mineral glass is made with innovative filter manufacturing technology. A completely new coating process has been developed to ensure uniform colours. A nano metallic alloy is applied to both sides of the filter which is made of high strength tempered Schott glass. This type of glass is known for its high light transmission and low reflection. The result is a beautiful neutrality, completely free of infrared pollution.
This grey filter has a 3.0 density and blocks ten stops of light over the entire image. This makes it possible to work with a more open aperture or slower shutter speeds. This is ideal in a high light environment and when you want to use certain settings in a setting where this is not possible with the existing light. You also have more control over depth of field. ,
